We went to San Diego again this summer. It is always a lot of fun and relaxation. We hung out on the beach when we wanted waves, hung out at the bay when we wanted to stay warm and avoid the wind, went to Sea World, and ate good food.
Don't be fooled by this photo. Jayce and Ciara enjoyed taking rides in the kayak around the bay, but Noah wanted nothing to do with it.
It was a good idea to bring their little scooters since they love riding up and down the sidewalk in front of the house.
While in San Diego, we went to the Mormon Battalion Historic Site. They had a nice video presentation that most of the kids didn't want to sit through. But is was all worth it in the end, as the kids got to go outside and pan for fool's gold that they got to keep, put bricks in an oven, and pump fresh water out of a well. It was a lot of fun.
We also went to Sea World a couple of days and had a great time. We took our niece Jami with us when we went and even left Logan with Mama and Papa one of the days. The kids' favorite shows were Pets Rule! and the Sea Lions Live. They also had a fun time at the Sesame Street area, riding rides and playing around.
