October Happenings!

October was fun. The boys and I went to the Pumpkin Patch to go on the rides.

Then we went to the Recreation Center for trick-or-treating with Brissa and Jennifer.

The Monday before Halloween, Riley, Diana and Blake came over to carve pumpkins.

For Halloween, my parents and Jami came to visit. Ciara was a vampire, Jami a witch,

Noah was Spiderman, Jayce was Venom and Logan was a dinosaur. They had a great time at Trunk-or-Treat.

Trip to Brian Head

On October 2, we went with Shane's boss to his family's cabin for the weekend.

It was so much fun. Lots to do. The kids played, rode 4-wheelers and went on hikes.

Really, Really Long Update!

OK! So, I am not good about updating my blog. It is going to drive my husband nuts. So, here is everything that has been happening around our house the past few months. On July 16 Ciara's class went on a field trip and I was able to go. They went to the Rainforest Cafe to learn about how to save rainforests and about all the different animals that live there. Then we got to have lunch there. It was a very fun time.

Kris, Sonya and their kids came to visit. We had a great time. Lots of swimming and fun with the cousins. We also went to Pump it Up one day.

In August, the kids and I went to Phoenix to visit family and for my sister Regan's bridal shower. We weren't able to escape from the heat , but we had a great time. August 24 was Ciara's first day of school as a 3rd grader. She is growing up so fast. On Labor Day weekend we had Logan's 2nd Birthday. We had a carnival theme. Lots of fun with lots of friends and family.

I was able to borrow a popcorn machine from the PTA. It really added to the whole theme.

On Labor Day we were bored, so we went to Bass Pro Shop to check things out. The kids had fun looking at everything and playing on some 4-wheelers.

On September 14 Jayce and Noah started preschool. They go Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11:15 in the morning. I'm still getting used to only having one child at that time.

Since I forgot to take pictures of Ciara on her first day, she got in on the action. This last weekend we went to Phoenix again for my sisters wedding. It was beautiful.

Our New Kitchen

In April we found a great deal on new kitchen cabinets. We were able to add an island and 18 inches of additional counter space between the stove and fridge. Last friday we finally got our new sink and countertops installed. It is so nice to have all this new space.

Today we went to the SPCA and got our first dog. Her name is Lilo. She is the sweetest dog.

The kids absolutley love her (except Logan isn't so sure about her).

4th of July!

On the 4th we went over to our friends the Canez's for a great dinner (thank you Frank). Since they live within walking distance to downtown Henderson, we headed over to the carnival and to see the fireworks. It was a great time.

So, on June 24 Logan had to go in to have tubes put in his ears and his adenoids taken out. Well, he recovered very well. Three hours after waking up he was running through the house and 5 days later he was doing this...

You gotta love how fast they recover when they are little.

San Diego, the best vacation ever!

Spending a week at the beach in San Diego is a great vacation. We go with my parents and sisters. This year was great, very relaxing. Here are some cute pics of our family at the beach
