Playing Catch-up!

So, I am behind again on my blogging. Ciara turned 9 in March. I can't believe she is so old. We had a craft birthday party. The girls decorated flip-flops and small purses and made lip gloss. It was lots of fun.

Easter weekend my parents and niece came to visit. The boys, Shane and my dad went to a Las vegas fire station that a friend works at. While they were there my mom, Ciara, Jami and I went to have a girls day. I was glad they could come visit. It was a fun weekend.

The last week in April Baskin Robbins offers 31 cent scoops of ice cream for one night. We of course took advantage of this. It was a little windy and cold, so we came home to eat it. Here is a couple pics of the kids. Logan picked chocolate, and had it everywhere.

Kade and Logan

Last week Rachel's kids were over playing. I couldn't find Logan and Kade. With 2-two year olds, that could be very bad. When I found them, they we both on the top bunk all tucked in. Too cute!

Hiking and Springs Preserve

One Saturday, Justin called and asked if Shane and the kids wanted to go on a hike at Lake Mead. My wonderful husband said yes, and I got some stuff done around the house. It was great.
The cousins.
The dads with their kiddos.
In February, there was a teacher work day. Rachel was going to the Springs Preserve with some friends, and invited us. I have never taken my kids before, and they had a great time. Now that I am out of the baby phase, these outings seem to be getting easier. Here are a few pics of the kids.

New Bikes!

The twins got new bikes for their birthday. So, while my family was visiting we decided to go to the park for a picnic and to ride bikes and scooters.

Logan and his scooter.

My mom and nephew.

Jayce riding his bike.

Noah on his. They discovered a hill that was lots of fun.

Jayce & Noah's 5th Birthday!

This year we had a LEGO-themed birthday party (mainly because it was the only theme they could agree on). My mom, two sisters, two nephews and my niece all came up for the weekend. It was a great birthday party. Hopefully next year they will be into the same thing.

All the kids holding up their towers they built with LEGO's.

Christmas Morning!

Christmas morning was great. It was just our family and my parents.
This year Logan was totally into Christmas. They all loved their gifts.
